Ok I know this is a little bit mad but hey it is my blog and I am a songwriter and have been interviewed on radio so I figured why not start this blog with my own music , sure everyone else is getting hits on their websites etc so I think its only fair I should be included in the singer songwriter group as well. Its what I do, So bear with me please as I try make the best use of my time and webspace here to plug my own music.

 Shane, at 16 at age Shane Supple a singer/songwriter from Youghal, County Cork in Southern Ireland started touring full time with his father showband legend Art Supple and his band. At 20 Shane joined a touring company acting in various stage plays and musicals, 1988


Shane signed up with Paddy O Brien. Shane spent the following two years touring Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, and some European countries. Around this time Shane wrote his first song “Someday I will be a Star” followed by Freedom, House of Cards, Aint room for Three & Tired of traveling, In 1990 started touring again with his father Art. One night guitar player and singer Gerry Lane asked Shane to sing a a JJ Cale number “They Call me the Breeze” , it went so well that Shane recorded it on one of his fathers video’s
1992 Shane put together his first EP “Eyes of Blue”. Drummer on this Ep and long time friend was Kieran McCarthy, and guitarist Bobby Lee. The songs were Eyes of Blue, Aint Room for Three, Freedom and House of Cards. Shane stayed with his father until 1993 then he joined up with Brendan Shine doing concert tours of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Shane wrote the song called “Youghal by the Sea. After a time Shane played with a local band called “The Grip”, time moved on Shane joined another group “Little Sister” on bass guitar and vocals, with guitarist Charlie Cudlip and Martin Tuc Pierce, the set included “Aint Room for Three” written by Shane.
About Shane Supple Singer Songwriter from Youghal Co Cork IrelandIn 1995 Shane set up the Gortroe rock school. The school went to different venues where they preformed live. The culmination of all of this was a recording of Knocking on Heavens Door and “Freedom”one of Shane’s songs. 1996 Shane became involved in “Community Radio Youghal” putting out a show twice weekly promoting local music and groups. Shane was involved in local drama and produced a show in Jan 1998 Shane won the Imokilly People Arts and Entertainment award.

2001 Shane wrote the song “Lifetime Guarantee” . Shane decided to send a copy to Paschal Mooney of the Green Grass Music and a publishing contract was signed. Shortly after that another song “Here I am- where are you”was recorded & released on the album Cottage by the Sea by Kevin Prendergast . Art Supple also recorded “Dance the last Dance”. In 2004 Mick Flavin recorded “Lifetime Guarantee” on his album “Try it you’ll Like It”. In 2005 Shane got word that another song “The Highway Song was receiving airplay in Taiwan. During the Summer of 2006 Shane Also got word that his song “Your so Special” was getting radio play in New Zealand much to the delight and surprise of Shane. In 2010 Shane’s song Lifetime Guarantee which Mick Flavin recorded was on the album which was voted Country Album of the year in Ireland.
