The Three Tenors

Shane Supple interviews John Scott from The Three Tenors Friday 11th Sept 2009

This week I spoke with John Scott from the three Tenors about their upcoming night at Cork Opera House, last year they visited Youghal to preform in St Marys Collegiate Church.  The Three Tenors are not the original Three Tenors, but this group are an outstanding success in their own right. Ireland's three tenors include John Scott, David Martin and Declan Kelly.

John Scott is a regular soloist in the National Concert Hall and is reputedly the most powerful singer in Ireland! David Martin trained in Italy under the world famous Ugo Benelli and he has rightly earned himself the name 'The Golden Voice'. Declan Kelly has toured all over Europe to much critical acclaim.

They sing everything from Sinatra, Pavarotti, Lloyd Webber and their famous Elvis Medley; there will also be a collection of Irish and international classics such as Joy to the World, O Holy Night, When A Child is Born, O Sole Mio and Nessun Dorma.

Their unique show with their own brand of humour, features the world’s most beautiful songs from Elvis (Love me Tender), Sinatra (My Way), Simon & Garfunkel (Bridge over troubled Water), Leonard Cohen (Halleluia), Pavarotti (Nessun Dorma), and a fabulous Abba medley. Joined by a Stunning Star Violinist, Ireland’s Hottest Trio, The Three Tenors – John Scott, David Martin, Declan Kelly, will delight and thrill all. Come see ‘The Fun Show’ Everybody Loves !
