The 3rd annual Hot Country 'country music' awards show was a huge success on Wednesday night last May 3rd, 2012 staged at the Hazel Hotel Monasterevin Co Kildare in front of a capacity crowd, it featured the 'best' in Irish country music. Backing band for the occasion were award winning Conquerors, presenters Hugh O'Brien and Pam Jackson kept the show moving with no delays which meant everything ran on time. Lighting and audio was provided by Spain AV Nenagh Co Tipperary.

Hot Country is now well established at the top country TV show, giving priority to Irish artists who can showcase their talents not only in Ireland but also in the UK and across mainland Europe. Before Hot Country was established over two and a half years ago, artists did not have a platform to showcase themselves on TV.

Hot Country has not alone created a number of jobs directly, but also the video and recording industry is also benefiting with the creation of jobs. Recording studios and video production units are busy all over Ireland, creating recordings for artists, with the finished product being showcased by the TV show. Hot Country is no doubt a success story based in Cork Ireland.
